Offspring of Nebbiolo vine variety grown in the four villages of Barbaresco district, it stands out immediately for its garnet red colour with orange hues and for its floral bouquet, with notes of red fruit jam and geranium. Even in his youth it can be fine and harmonious, perfect for elegant occasions.

Vinification: Crushing and destemming; fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C. Maceration on the skins for 12 days, with daily pumping of the must over the cap.
Refining: Aged in large casks made of Slavonian oak.
Cellar life: 10 years.

The name derives from the fact that the harvest of nebbiolo is the last one, usually in October, when there is fog (in Italian “nebbia”), or because the berries are covered with a sort of patina, “pruina”, which would remember the haze.
